Curved Merino Wool Cardigan

Some people are just hard to please, but this is my second purchase. After purchasing the teal sweater directly from US, I purchased this item in black. Yes, it may be expensive to some shoppers but I would rather INVEST in a quality piece than keep paying for the same item over and over again of lesser quality. It’s one of a kind. I wear it my blazers, top it with my Beas coat or wear my fog or tees. I dress it up with leather or lace when I go out. Buy it and do you.

I really wanted to love this sweater. It is cute, but not as thick as I was hoping for the fall/winter. It is pretty thin, which to be fair the descriptions says it is "lightweight". But for the price point I wanted this sweater to be softer, and cozier. The sleeves are long for me, I am only 5feet tall, but it ends up looking pretty slouchy. I am going to return it because I just cannot justify spending this much on a sweater that I feel "meh" about.

As another reviewer said, this is a lightweight sweater. It's the right weight for early to mid fall and works for me. The knit is closely weaved and feels good on the skin. I like the drape of the cardigan when it's open; it looks nice buttoned as well. The sleeves are long and slouchy, which I'm not entirely sold on. I like that they look slouchy when pushed up on my forearm but I also wish they hit on my wrist (which is hard to find for me, I have shorter arms). Overall a good basic with a more interesting silhouette.

Purchased in two colors because the cut is so original. Buttons slide slightly to the side, giving a really nice silhouette to a cardigan. It's not bulky and heavy, and it can be worn without anything underneath when buttoned up (if you're careful). The sleeves are a bit longer which I like in winter, but you really have to push them up to get this look with the fog shirt underneath. Universal Standard quality present, this will be worn for years.

I like this card and have worn it several times in the couple of weeks since it arrived - both casually - with jeans & a little more dressed up - with blouse & pants. I like the fabric - not too thick or too thin and the style is a little cooler that a standard card. It is shorter than it appears in the photo - and I would prefer if it came down to thigh level (as on photo) rather than to hip level.
