What it is: A gentle, weightless essence that helps hydrate, soothe and support the skin barrier.

What it does: This milky essence is formulated with colloidal oatmeal and squalane to help calm and comfort skin while locking in essential moisture. It leaves the complexion feeling soft, hydrated and prepped for the rest of your skincare routine.

How to use: Shake well before use. After cleansing, pour a small amount into palms or onto a cotton pad and gently press into the face and neck. Use daily, morning and night.

Irritated my skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually love this brand’s products but unfortunately, this one just didn’t work out. I think the phenoxyethanol in this essence is the culprit, because my face started feeling irritated just seconds after I pat it onto my face. I really expected a gentle, sensitive-skin- friendly formula, but this was definitely not it. On a packaging note, I appreciate the idea of the lift-notch to pour out products, but the little notch was a bit of a hassle to open. Personally, I’d prefer a standard screw cap instead.

Soothing hydration

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product with great ingredients! It feels cool to the touch when you apply and provides hydrating support for the skin. My boyfriend even used it to soothe his sunburn! Safe to say we’re both fans of the oat milk essence!

Lightweight product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First Aid Beauty has so many products and I always like giving them a try. Tried this and thought it was okay overall. The consistency is what you think it would be when you hear milk essence. I prefer using a lotion, but this worked well before applying my makeup. I would recommend trying if you want something lightweight.

Great

Nice but not as hydrating as I’d like

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gentle, no real fragrance, feels smooth and easy to put on. Doesn’t irritate my skin and leaves a gentle sheen, nothing super glassy. Unfortunately I am missing the hydration- it doesn’t feel like it’s helping my skin stay super plump and hydrated, which is a bummer. It’s getting cold here and the heat is on and I still feel dry! Bummer!

Nice scent and absorbs well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very watery but smells really nice. Looks and smells like watered down oatmilk. I took before and after pictures but couldn't really tell a difference. It was not sticky after putting it on and skin absorbed it well so that was good. Skin feels a little softer/smoother but overall neutral about the product.
