Gertrude Double Breasted Teddy Coat

I get at least 782 compliments every time I wear it. My boyfriend goes “oh god” under his breath because as soon as someone approaches me he knows they’re about to ask where I got this coat and I’m about to gloat. 🤣

This jacket is adorable! I am very pleased with the quality and comfort. It is also super warm. The coat does run on the bigger size. I ordered a XS and I am 135lbs if that can help anyone for size. The fireside color is like a mauve pink. So pretty.

I am a petite size small and ordered this in the small. Holy moly it was huge on me!! I don't know if an x-small would've worked (all sold out now) but this small is going back tomorrow. Sucks because the firewood color is beautiful in person and I have no doubt that this thing will be WARM, but alas, I look like I gained thirty pounds wearing it. A negative is that it is quite heavy. There is A LOT of material. Looks like a blanket folded up in the bag to return. I feel like it would need its own chair at a restaurant because of how much of it there is. But quality and warmth is definitely there.

I'm 5'3 105 pounds I got an XS and its a bit oversized but I like the way it looks. I live in Chicago and the winters are brutal and this jacket has been the thickest/heaviest out of a lot of other teddy coats I've ordered (APPARIS, Sam Edelman, etc) I have heavy down coats from Mackage and Moncler and I feel like this keeps me very warm but a real down coat would be warmer. I can wear this with a hat and scarf and I can take my dog for a walk around the block at 20/25 degree weather and still feel warm. Also this jacket is super comfortable the pockets have furry fleece lining which is nice if you forget your gloves its super soft. I get tons of compliments while wearing this coat I would recommend this coat. I want to get it in a white because its become my new favorite coat.

I purchased this coat in ink black. It looked exactly as I expected. It is not a deep black, it’s almost like a faded black or charcoal gray. I noticed that some people complained about the color, but it looks exactly as pictured. They even pair it in the picture with black jeans so you could see that it’s not a true black color. I bought a medium, even though I can wear a small because I wanted it to be really oversized. I didn’t feel that the coat ran large and I am a true size 4. I saw some people complained about the coat being really big, but it’s supposed to be a bigger, more fluffy coat. When paired with UGGs or even combat boots, I think they look great. I also wear it with my charcoal/faded black jeans and deep black boots to give it a pop. It’s so comfy and snuggly and I get so many compliments. My Best Buy for the winter.

Love it but I was expecting Black rich color, it’s Smokey and doesn’t go well with my black clothing, UGG needs to work on its Black color in general. I purchased rich black color sleepers, but stained my feet and stained my carpet, I try to clean my carpet and now it’s huge stained in the midge if my living room, at first I didn’t know what it was, until I look at my sleepers. Unfortunately I will return it.
