Adirondack II Waterproof Boot

Very warm and cozy product. If you are looking for comfort, look no further. It's worth every penny.

Last year (2012) I have bought grey Adirondack boots. After winter has gone, I put them in their original box and took them few days ago. I was terrified!! Grey sheepskin outside was in two grey/grey petrolium blue colors. I immideately wrote to Ugg but they answered that warranty is just for a year. Great, I paid them almost 300€ and they last just a year. I will never buy new pair of Ugg boots.

Everywhere I looked I saw people saying to size up 1/2 a size. Initially, yes, it feels like you should when you try them on. Once you've worn them a couple times you're left with a shoe 1/2 a size too big. I wear a 7.5 in almost all flat shoes but the reviews convinced me to purchase an 8. After wearing them around the house a bit the sherpa inside crushed down enough that my foot was able to slide forward 1/2". I sized down to the 7.5 and they are perfect. They should feel a little snug at first b/c once the sherpa condenses down they will be the correct size. Just a heads up for everyone. Once you have the correct size they are like walking on pillows. So warm and comfy.

I got these hiking boots for my trip to Iceland, where I would be walking in ice caves, seeing waterfalls, and hiking a glacier. They were amazing! Not only do these boots feel like walking on soft, fluffy, cotton-y clouds, but they are super warm and light (not heavy). They held up amazingly well as they were the only shoes I wore for 4 days straight in Iceland (including both my travel days on the plane +1.5 days). Not a ding or scratch on them, and this includes me adding crampons two different times. I didn't know if I should order my true size (6.5) or the larger size (7), as many reviews said that they run small and to order a half-size up. I only have one other pair of Ugg boots, and they are actually a size 6, so maybe that's why these have to be ordered a half-size large, as compared to other Ugg boots. The 6.5 fit me perfectly! That includes me wearing thick ski socks, and even with my jeans tucked inside. So, get these! Yes - they were expensive at full-price (and I rarely buy anything at full-price), but they were worth every penny. Stick to your regular shoe size (not your Ugg shoe size).

As an avid snowboarder and someone who also lives in a city where rain is frequent (Santa Cruz) I wanted boots I could stomp around puddles in that would also be versatile enough to wear in the mountains trekking through the snow. Not only do these boots fit the bill but they are stylish and comfortable. As for the fit: I don't understand why everyone says these boots run small. Usually I am a 9 or 9.5. Due to the many reviews saying they run small, I got a 9.5. When they arrived they were a little too big (even with thick socks) so I had to exchange them for a 9. My advice would be to order YOUR REGULAR SIZE. Then again, I like my boots to fit snug--what's the point in having shoes with traction when your foot is slipping around the inside?

I wore these after a snowstorm with no socks in about 20 degree weather. My toes were feeling a little chilly standing on line outside after about a hour. Once I started moving around again, my feet were warm and comfy. I would not have tried this with any other boots. These boots are amazingly warm and super comfortable. If you are a half size, definitely go one size up on these boots.
