Tyra Polka Dot Short Sleeve Midi Dress

I ordered a size 12, and it fit like a small fitted 10. I have a larger chest and let’s just say the cups are tiny. The lining was not a smooth fabric and seemed to catch on the dress face fabric. I had-expected a flounce in the skirt, but it’s more crepe than silky. The a background is more a cream but otherwise the dress is close to the photo. Also was disappointed when it arrived. It was wadded in a tiny bag, no tissue and wrinkled. Was excited to wear for my birthday but sadly not what I was hoping and will be going back.

I have a pear shaped body so I was a little worried if the hip area fit then the top and waist would be too loose. Surprisingly, the waist fit nicely! The top gives you a defined slim waist. I like that I can wear this alone during warmer weather or throw a leather jacket and booties on during colder seasons.

This dress looks classic and is VERY flattering! My daughter loves Reformation, but is normally a size 4 in this brand. With this dress the 8 & 10 fit beautifully! That’s some odd sizing though especially since she has many other dresses in this same brand. She kept the size 10 & will have the shoulders taken in just a little. She also bought another pattern in size 8.

Definitely size at least two up. Classic example of how messed up reformation sizing is. I’m normally a 4 or 6, I ordered an 8 and it just fits. The chest also sits very high up and doesn’t align with where the bust actually is. It’s a cute dress but I’m returning it. It also arrived dirty with black marks which was lovely…
