Two-Piece Sweater & Slipdress

I’m returning this dress. I purchased it to wear for Easter. I bought it online & picked up in store the day before the holiday. When I put it on the next morning, I noticed that there was a stain on the back of the skirt - it looks like someone’s lip gloss had rubbed off on the material when they tried it on. That was disappointing enough, but when I looked closer the whole back of the hem had splash marks! Clearly it had been worn before. I’ve never had this problem with Nordstrom. I felt so insulted - and inconvenienced by having to select another outfit last minute. I’m a Nordy Club member and have been a loyal customer for over 15 years, but my purchases have been less than satisfying over the past few years. They went from carrying an upscale high quality assortment to offering cheaply made garments that I would expect to find at Macy’s. This dress was just the last straw. Not spending my money at Nordstrom anymore.

The fit was great, I’m 5’5 size 4. Loved the color and the 2-1 style and cut reminded me of All Saints for less. The quality was not there, the top had snags galore and loose strings hanging from the end of the stitches. The slip dress didn’t not have a way to be attached and re-attached, so you’d just have to cut the string attaching the slip if you’d want to wear the pieces individually. The straps of the slip were adjustable but barely which made for an awkward fit. Overall this was a disappointment and I returned it, bummed out because the color was great.
