Favorite "dressy" legging
I love Zella brand "Live In" leggings and despaired of ever finding non-athletic leggings that I like as much as those. Well these are those leggings, and I adore them. After buying one pair, I quickly went back and bought 2 more.
First off, the fabric is deep black and doesn't fade after washing. They also don't shrink (I wash on cold and dry on low). The knit is very fine and doesn't pill. They do not stretch out as you wear them throughout the day and they are never sheer. These are the weight of a great athletic legging, but the style is more refined. The seam running up the back is a slimming vertical line and adds a little something extra.
In terms of sizing, I am a true size 6 with hips and in these I am comfortable a size small. Medium is much too large. I'm 5'6" and the regular length scrunch a little at the ankle because of the extra length; they are definitely longer on me than on the models pictured where it looks like they stop at the ankle bone.
When they say that these are high rise, they do mean very high waisted. The bottom of the elastic bands sits just above my belly button. I find that higher waisted leggings are the most comfortable and flattering, but if you hate high waisted, then these are not for you. Elastic waist is wider, never digs into me, and does not cause any sort of lines or indentations underneath clothing.
While these leggings cover any lumps like a good legging should, they aren't super tight. They aren't going to give you much in terms of shapewear benefits like a legging with more spandex would. But the flip side is that the fabric doesn't have that sheen that comes from the spandex and these look much more refined.
I can't say enough good things and I get compliments when I wear mine.

They aren't the same!
I have been purchasing & wearing these leggings for years and absolutely love them. I have some that are 5 years old and barely show any wear that's why I'm willing to pay $49 for leggings. HOWEVER, I recently ordered 2 new pair and even though the label shows the same materials, they clearly are NOT! After just 1 wearing I feel bumpy rough wear spots where my thighs meet, the fabric feels much thinner too. My 5 year old pair has zero wear spots. These will be going back! Shame on you Vince Camuto!

I love these leggings
I have wore these legging for years. I wish they made more colors. They are thicker then most, wide waist band, comes up to your waist and no muffin top. Length is great not short. The black stays black after washing. Everyone must try them. I'm size 14, 5ft 7, 180 lbs and wears large. Greatest legging. Please more colors.

It fits!!!
Rise is up to waist; price is right, quality of fabric good, substantial weight, Rich charcoal with hint of heather color compliments tweed coat that has been begging for updated use. It is hanging in my closet awaiting cooler weather. Modesty of fit, not too tight, allows use of multiple tops, not just those with drop down hems, so you can use up wardrobe odds and ends; not just cover your derriere tunics.

would have been perfect but runs large
I tried the petite xxs and that was way too tight on the legs. Reordered and got the petite xs. I thought it was a perfect fit and went ahead and got the length hemmed since it was still too long (I'm 5' and 108 lbs). I've worn it a few times but the waist is too big and I'm constantly having to pull them up to keep the crotch from dropping between my thighs. I'm hoping that they shrink a little if I wash and dry hot. I still like them even if I have to covertly pull them up every so often. The material is super nice and the seam makes my legs look great.
