Voyageur Dumont Duffle Bag

This bag is a Nordstrom exclusive and can’t be purchased anywhere else. With use it’s proven not to be the same quality as typical Tumi bags. The original retail price is outrageous for what you get and even on sale, it’s not a good deal. I used this bag on one trip and it picked up so much dirt and even tore in one area even though there was nothing sharp in my bag. It’s a good size but when it has items in it, the bag starts to bulge out and look sloppy. If they have this bag again next year for the Anniversary sale, I would totally skip it.

I purchased this bag in Mauve during the anniversary sale. I loved more softer color and it had a number of interior pockets ,which is one of the reasons I prefer Tumi luggage. That is where the good stops... I used this bag on two trips and both instances were disappointing. The bag lacks structure, which makes it difficult to use with carryon luggage. The second and most egregious complaint is the bag stains easily. Anytime the bag came in contact with any sort of surface, it would attract stains-somewhat tolerable if it were easy to clean! The lack of structure caused my carryon to tip forward when attached. I dropped it in a dry parking lot (again due to lack of structure) and somehow managed to a strange attract a black oil-like stain that couldnt be removed. That was the last straw. Fortunately, Nordstrom has an amazing return policy. Otherwise, I would have been forced to live with an overpriced, underperforming bag. No Bueno!
