Voyageur Carson Nylon Backpack

I LOVE this bag. I resisted getting a backpack for work travel for YEARS because, quite frankly, I just couldn’t get on board w the idea of a backspace, but this bag has changed work Travel for me. It fits everything, including my water bottle and snacks which are both necessary when you travel. The ease of access for both my computer & iPad as well as file folders and notebook, makes my life so much easier. I used to deal w constantly swapping my over-loaded work bag from shoulder to shoulder and with this, the weight is evenly distributed. Couldn’t be happier w this purchase!

Overall I like this backpack. I’ve been using it as my daily work bag. Convenient pockets and I like that the interior is light colored. Looks great with a lot of my outfits. One complaint... it needs piping or something to help hold its shape. I prefer my zipper pulls to one side... When I grab the top to close the zipper, it stays crushed. (See pic). I can puff it up if I’m more careful but I don’t always have the time to slowly and carefully close my bag.

I have carried a backpack on our Disneyland trips for a couple of years. I always complain that I can't find my wallet or glasses in the cavern that gets filled up with coats and everything else you need for a day in the park. I discovered Tumi and purchased two different smaller versions first. I quickly went back to the Carson. It is so light weight and has so many organization pockets that I can find everything without any effort. I put my wallet and glasses in the front lower pocket, my cell phone in the slip pocket with the magnet, my water bottle in the side zip pocket conveniently lined for just that purpose and my park passes in the other side zip pocket. That still left the very back zip compartment for my travel papers and the entire inside free for everything else. All of this while still being light enough to carry and remove quickly for the rides. I would highly recommend. This is a win win for me. Can't wait for our next trip.

This bag is beautiful and perfect for work and carryon bag. Got it two weeks ago and it’s been on two flights so far. Easily holds my laptop and my tablet. Roomy extra pockets for chargers and earbuds, phone, bottle water...etc. When empty it’s very light weight so no added bulk for my commute. Nylon feels strong enough to hold up to regular wear. I got it in the grey and it’s perfect neutral color. Receive many compliments

Initially I had bought the Tumi Hagen backpack, but it was too small for my 13" Macbook Pro. I exchanged it for the Carson which fits perfectly, along with my 10.5" iPad, external mouse, various power cables, expandable file folder, and small purse without being huge. The straps are daintier than I expected but I'm only hauling it from house to car to office and back again, not backpacking through the mountains. The nylon is smooth but thick and the hardware seems pretty tough; I expect it to last a long time.
