Great suitcase

Purchased his & her suitcases during the Anniversary Sale, both in Cadet Blue. The bag appears to be what you'd expect from the Tumi Brand. Very nicely done and has the security locking feature on the top as well if you are storing your baggage at a resort before check-in. We did weigh the bag to see what the difference was compared to our other high-end bags. This Tumi weighs 11.7 lbs. empty if that helps. It does have an expand feature in the middle if you need more room. Planning a trip this fall and will be using these for the first time. Fingers crossed it was worth the investment. They also come with their own creme colored "storage bag" when you put them away after your trip.

Missing hanger

The picture for the item shows a tumi hanger but the luggage didn't come with one...I feel like it's false advertising 😕

warranty problem beware

My high expectations crashed when the wheel broke within the first year. Although Tumi guarantees for five years they won’t warranty when purchased through Nordstrom and Nordstrom won’t help. Best to buy direct from Tumi. What a disappointment.

Great suitcase

I purchased this case during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and it’s been one of my best travel buys. Every year I take a week trip to Las Vegas and I usually overpack, but with this luggage (paired with packing cubes), I was able to downsize from my usual checked bag plus a garment bag to just this one case. The hard shell and lightweight design are fantastic. On the side with the two hanging slots, I kept my clothes on their hangers, folded them in half, and laid them flat—it worked perfectly. And my clothes were NOT wrinkled. I used the middle zip section for additional items, and on the opposite side, I fit a large and medium packing cube with extra space left for shoes and a curling iron. I normally pack around 49 lbs, but with this case my luggage came in at only 42 lbs, which means I still had room to add more. I love it so much that I even bought one for my husband. Another huge plus is that, even though I purchased it at Nordstrom, I was able to take it to Tumi for embossing, and it still comes with the full Tumi warranty and tracking tag. Truly an excellent purchase!

Great suitcase!

Great suitcase- our second purchase of this exact model. It is the perfect size for long trips and we pack both of our children’s clothing in here.

lovely and sturdy case but HEAVY!

The case is sturdy and allows a lot of packing space but had I noticed over 11 lbs empty so more than double my other cases i would have paused. Packed for an expedition and was over 50lbs with nothing excessive so if not flying first/business class be prepared to pay "heavy" baggage fees.
