My go to pieces for travel!

I have used Tumi luggage for almost 25 years, and have always found the luggage, briefcase, backpacks, really all items to be my go to for travel, and I travel quite a bit. This piece is lovely, light and and matches an existing piece. Nice job Tumi!

The wheels tilt to the right. I packed it different way hoping it’ll work since I loved the light way material but it was impossible to make it work. Accident waiting to happen

Weak Zippers & insubordinate quality

Although, I love Tumi these items are not built with the same quality as they used to be. not as sturdy, weak handles, wheels not that great, and zippers keep coming off, and in this case they break off. They are like a plastic type of material made to look like metal, and are only held in place with a little tab of material. The way the zippers are constructed I'm sure there will be problems for years to come even after the warranty.

Cute but small

The look of the bag is stylish and sophisticated. It is quite small although it is advertised as a 22-inch carry on which is a large carry on (I added a photo of my away suitcase with the same advertised dimensions for comparison) there is a lot of space lost inside due to the design i.e. slanted front portion, and handle area. It’s a compact suitcase at best or a weekender with wheels if I am being honest. I have the Alpha 2 which is gargantuan by comparison. I would advise this be used for overnights and short trips no more than 3-4 days. Very lite weight. Wheels could be better-will give an update once I use it

Great carry on that perfectly meets my needs.

This carryon does exactly what I need it to do. I have space for up to 2 weeks worth of clothes, some work material. The handle is pretty heavy duty and the wheels spin easily. The overall empty weight is light, which is great!
