Large Linz Carryall Tote Bag

Super disappointed with this bag. Do not purchase it. It doesn’t have the structure of other Tumi totes. Placing a small wallet in the zipped compartment will cause that side to droop. Also the bag straps are uncomfortable and are often twisted. Really wanted to like it- suggest the voyageur over this which has neither of the two issues mentioned.

Seems to lean to forward. Good size overall, a little heavy. Only have been using for day to day - and not for travel yet. Would also prefer more comfortable over the shoulder strap, and possibly have the normal handles on rings so they aren't always upright. Laptop pocket doesn't keep the laptop flush with the back of the purse - falls forward.

I was lucky enough to snag this carry-all when it also came in pink. That color is wonderful and everyone loves it, of all gender types. People keep telling me how nice it is to have a great bag from Tumi that comes in color. When they inquire, I have to say that the pink one has been discontinued. On a flight, when it was my personal carry-on item, all of First Class wanted to see it after hearing from others as we boarded. It is so refreshing to have the great attributes of a Tumi bag that is not black. Tumi doesn't offer most of its bags in anything but black. That is not a true view of the desires of so many of us to move into color options. Fashion dictates are moving us that way. Other than that, the bag is marvelous with a padded section for my laptop and a good place for my tablet in the middle inner section as well as an inner large zippered pocket which keeps my necessaries and valuables., several other pockets and a key leash. Having a removable cross-body strap is excellent because there are always times when you don't have a free hand to carry it, such as in an airport. One way to gauge the popularity of this bag in the pink color is that there is not a single one that I could find on the resale sites.
