Kileen Convertible Sling Bag

It's a perfect backpack that I am using as a purse. When unzipped as a backpack, you can wear it on your back or wear on the front if you're protective in a crowd. This backpack holds a lot of stuff! I have my wallet, glasses case, cellphone (iPhone 14 pro max), my AirPods, lip balm, tin of mints, a tube of glucose tablets, pack of wet naps, my keys and a pouch holding my iPhone cables. If you're apprehensive about someone reaching into your backpack from behind, but don't want to wear it on your front, there's also a padded pocket on the back side. It's deep enough and it'll be flushed against your back. It's not a huge bag for a laptop but it's large enough hold a tablet, possibly. I posted a photo of the bag next to my iPad. For reference I'm 5 ft tall and I didn't have to loosen the straps to wear it. They fit as is. In fact I wish I could tighten them just a bit. This is my third convertible sling/ backpack and I have been happy with all my Tumi purchases.

The color of this bag is beautiful. Unfortunately, as another noted, it is impossible for a female to wear this as a front sling bag. I wanted this bag to wear to the Christmas markets in Europe in December. Being female and having breasts, even with the straps fully extended and the zipper undone, you cannot get this around your chest. There is absolutely no security carrying this on your back in open air markets in Europe.

I so wanted to love this crossbody but the straps are not long enough to make if comfortable. I like to be able to wear it at the front and on the longest settings it is literally practically under my chin and the zipper to make it a backpack scratches my neck. Why Tumi didn’t choose to use a little more fabric and give you longer straps I’ll never no. I guess if you were very short it might work. I am only 5’5” and it doesn’t work for me.
