Alpha Compact Carry-On

I was super excited to get this bag but should have done more research and a practice run. It is constructed really well, traditional Tumi quality, with one exception. The telescoping handle for this bag is very wabbly and feels cheap (unlike the rest of the bag). I do not expect the handle to last long at all. The biggest disappointment is how little you can fit in this bag. From the outside it looks like it is decent size. Good luck fitting much at all in it. Great for accessing your laptop when going through security - but not a great purchase for any other reason. I wish I would have put a little more time into this purchase before actually using it - now I'm stuck with something in which I have little value.

Really the exact right size for a lawyer having to bring extra files to court. When you open up the main compartment and unzip it, the bag does not just collapse both ends onto the floor. It’s built that it stays suspended like an open filing cabinet of sorts. I have found it invaluable for my document heavy court days. I chose this size because the size down seemed too small for me and the size up seemed to potentially run into issues with the material dragging onto the ground when you use the expanding function. This one is just right and I think the better option for most lawyers and others who needs to transport a good amount of documents without using bulky and unstylish and awkward to move alternatives. I got the red accent addition and it just looks awesome with that popping contrast.

I must say that I love this bag, however there are a couple things I wish had been added to it's design. 1: There is really no real easy and quick access to the interior of the bag. I order to get to the main storage area the bag must be fully unzipped which in certain areas (like in a plane, on while at a meeting) can be very difficult to accomplish. 2: There are no extra hooks or loops, etc. to hang anything (on the outside) of the bag other than the top carry handle and a "very small and extremely tight" area just under the USB plug. 3: and this is just a small inconvenience, but the top carry handle is "VERY TIGHT" and can be a little uncomfortable getting your hand under to carry. What I really like about this bag is the ease in which it rolls, very smooth, the style is fantastic and the overall quality is amazing. Despite the above 3 personal comments I would recommend this bag to any serious traveler.
