Tulip Slip-On Sneaker (Women)

I have worn this brand for years, have many colors, and love them, BUT trying to find the proper size is beyond irritating. I am an 8-8.5 and the 9 (39) is this edition is quite small. I am returning these and ordering several more sizes to try. The moral of the story here is: PATIENCE. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to find the proper size if ordering online, and order several different sizes. The process is needlessly frustrating, but after passing through this stage...it's a fantastically comfortable and flexible (wear many ways) shoe.

I was hoping these would be more like my original Tulip 139’s which I find so comfortable. However, the platform on these just makes them heavy and clunky. Also, the heel is more enclosed with less perforation than the original 139 causing it to rub - an easy blister in the making. However, the grey blue color is lovely - wish it came in the original.

I've been getting these sneakers for years. They are comfortable and I'd often get compliments on them. I've found, however, that the old design, with the lower heel, lasted much longer. With both pairs that I bought since the new style came out, the stitching between the sole and the top of the shoe began to fray. The old ones lasted until I wore them out. The quality has changed and I'm not buying them anymore.
