Tulip Print Sailor Shoe

The European sizing is incorrect. I normally wear a 10 they have the 10 list that is a 40 when an actuality a 42 is more like a 10.

This is my seventh pair of Ilse Jacobsen shoes, all size 38; first Tulip Print Sailor shoe with the little bow. The previous six pairs fit well. This one has my toes scrunched up and I think my circulation is cutting off after 5 minutes sitting on my couch wearing them. My local store (Overland Park, KS) doesn’t carry them so I have no idea how a 39 fits. IJ - If you see this, please review your sizing quality control procedures.

Great with slacks. I'm a 37 in this brand, but i needed a 38. Didnt like the beige sparkly option

This is the second attempt to purchase these shoes. First pair marked size 8/38 (now I realize 38 is more like 7- 7 1/2). They were way too small. I purchased size 9/39. They are the same size as the previous pair which was really a size 7/38. Both returned. Never again.

I love Ilse Jacobsen shoes as they are so comfy and can be washed. I wear a 9 1/2 shoe but wear a size 11 in the tulip slip ons which i have 3 pairs of. Sadly, these boat shoes run even smaller. I ordered a 11 which was too small so I ordered a 12 with high hopes. They arrived today and not any bigger than the 11. Very disappointing. Both will be returned. I gave the shoes 2 stars because they are cute.

I’ve had several Ilse Jacobsen shoes over the years, I knew to size up one size from my usual 8. The 9 was too small so ordered a 10. I recommend going up 2 sizes from your usual in this style.
