Good looks and Useful

This is another great Barbour buy in the Anniversary sale. It will be a 3 season coat in New England. The roomy patch pockets will be very handy, though I wish an interior pocket was also included. The size 10 fits me (5’3”, 115 lbs.) perfectly with room for a wooly sweater underneath. I am an XS in Eileen Fisher and generally wear size 2-4 in other labels. The size equivalent is off here. In my experience the UK size 10 is like a 4 US, not a 6 as stated on the label.

Barbour coat

I like the coat and am keeping it because it was one of the last in stock anywhere. However, the coat I received smells like a strong cologne, as it if had been worn and then returned by someone. I would have hoped Nordstrom would notice this and not re-sell it, especially at full price.

Versatile Stadium Coat

This is my first Barbour purchase and I am very pleased with the fit, quality and practicality of the coat. I have. short arms, so I took the coat back to Nordstrom to hem the sleeves, but other than. that, the coat fits really well over my hips without feeling too big, or sloppy. I am going to get a lot of wear out of this coat, as it is useful for many purposes.

Green Corduroy COat

I loved this coat, but the sizing was off, usually a 12 coat size would be right for me, but it was like an extra large.. Sadly, I had to return it.

Superb quality but size down

Great coat and perfect weight and warmth for the Pacific Northwest. I had to size down. The quality and workmanship are excellent and I'm picky. Very well designed except for the screaming white Barbour logo on the pocket. I prefer no logos but wouldn't mind if the embroidery thread were the same navy color as the fabric. I liked everything else so well I compromised on the logo.
