I am so unbelievably angry that Tubby Todd has this wash on the market without BIG BOLD print, announcing the risk that comes with getting this in your baby's eyes.
We had been using the wash for some time on our son with no issue (we loved it!), until he got a bit in his eye. He screamed and screamed for hours, and his eye swelled shut, eventually requiring a doctor's visit to confirm it wasn't something more serious. Our doctor confirmed it was just irritation from the soap, and suggested a variety of eye treatments (saline to wash, antibiotic eye drops, etc...) to help our son heal. My husband actually took a bit of the soap and rubbed it in his eye to confirm that it was, in fact, the TT soap, and he said he has never had any soap burn that badly. Ever. My husband's eye was still red and swollen the following day; it was even crusted over from the overnight irritation. How could a company market something THAT irritating for newborns?! I had purchased a variety of TT items to "stock up" during a recent sale. They will all be going back. Items that have been opened are going in the trash.
