Mako Washable Sneaker

I'm giving this 5-stars because I think Tsukihoshi sneakers are the best in general. My son is very particular to shoes and in recent years has said everything but Keens and Tsukihoshis are uncomfortable. However, Keens had the stink problem, which has been a non-issue with Tsukihoshi. I also like that they are washable, much lighter, and more flexible. He has had four pairs of Tsukihoshisis now which have all been great. I am returning this specific pair of Tsukishoshis because I mis-estimated size, and also because they took too long to arrive (about 5 days after my estimated arrival date). He needed a new pair before then, so I needed to drive out of my way to the only store in my region that carries some of this brand.

My almost 6 year old loves this sneaker. Since he just outgrew the “little kid” sizes, I didn’t expect him to like a shoe without flashing lights or a character such as Lightening McQueen features but he selected this electric blue sneaker for its color and the no tie lacing feature. He also likes that they are light weight. He has worn them happily and comfortably since purchase. That was only a couple of weeks ago so I can’t vouch for durability yet. I love that these shoes are washable and appear to be well made.

I have 2 boys that never, ever have to break in these shoes. They looove them. They dry super fast when you wash them and are comfortable and come in so many cute colors and styles. One of my boys wears a wide and my other is a normal width and both love these shoes. What else do you want?
