Sabine Flat (Women)

Pro: I love the color and style of this flat. Even tho it's a slightly metallic finish, the taupe-y "in-between" color works well with blacks or browns, lights or darks. The style is simple, but the scalloped edge gives it some unique interest. The sole is well padded with good arch support. Con: I was hoping that the top of the shoe would completely cover the toe-joint area of my foot and avoid any rubbing and pressure. Alas, it hits just at the joint and so there is some pressure and discomfort across my big-toe joint. The shoe is otherwise just what I was looking for, so I am using some thin padding in the problem areas. So, I guess it depends on the shape of your feet as to whether this shoe will be a good fit.

The Sabine flat is great. I now have three pair. They look nice with pants or skirts, and are very comfortable. My first pair was a size 6M which is my usual size. They seem to run a little large, so I now have two pair of 5.5M which are just fine. Since they are leather, they stretch a mite. The scolloped edge gives them a different look from the regular ballet flat. Buy these! You will love them.
