'Lauren' Pump

This was my first experience with Trotters shoes. Ordered several but found the fit of this brand was not for me. I usually wear Munros, Merrils, Danskos,--I can take these shoes out of the box and wear them all day long. But I was attracted to the look of Trotters shoes. Ordered several pairs in different sizes none of which worked for me. I have a short wide foot--these shoes were tight across the toes and I walked out of the heel despite the size. I was pleased with the styling and quality of the shoes given the price. I really liked the shoes but the fit was not for me.

These shoes fit well and have a comfortable, padded insole. They have a classic look without being too "old lady-ish." I like the low heel and think they look good with either pants or dresses. The description says they are made of herringhone-patterned patent leather, which sounds kind of weird, but the textured surface has a interesting combination of shiny and dull. They almost look like they're made of suede that's been embossed with a subtle pattern. It's hard to describe, but beautiful.

After trying for months to find a brown leather low healed shoe in narrow, I was about to give up. I had ordered other shoes from other places and none of them fit. I ordered these and when they came I tried them on and they fit perfectly! I have a high arch and a narrow foot, and these fit my feet true to size. I love them!
