Tropos 32-Liter Backpack

Disappointed with the 25l Escapist, I wanted something around 30-35l again. This backpack does the trick nicely. It could do with an included raincover, especially as it is designed for a laptop, but it is roomy and otherwise well designed. It being able to stand up without falling over is more useful than I imagined - others have said similar.

The Troops 32 is so versatile. It's great for everyday use for the office or days out, but also has loads of capacity for a week of travel. The Airspeed backpanel is super comfy and helps keep your back cool and the load lifters really help when carrying heavy loads. The compartments are great. The front panel is large but also has organisation. The main compartment is really big and holds a lot. The laptop compartment fits a 16" MacBook Pro easily with space for a tech pouch too. The bag can be compressed so it's smaller when not full and the kickstand is so helpful to keep it upright when placed on the ground. Overall this is a do it all bag that is so comfy and can be used for so many different use cases and is built like a tank!

Its a good quality sturdy bag, but product information didn't state the dimensions just the capacity it can hold. I've ended up with a much larger bag then anticipated. It was a gift, so I can't return it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this because I loved my kids’ Nebula 32, but I wanted something with a little more structure. It is not something that I see myself using as a day-to-day backpack because of some of the harnesses and internal framing that makes it feel more hiking- or travel-oriented. I think I would probably use the nebula 32 for an everyday carry instead.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's on the bigger side for an everyday commuter backpack, but if you need more room this is a fantastic bag. I highly recommend it as the owner of a previous version of the Tropos.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this pack! I have seven Osprey backpacks, from small to large, they all are unique and have a certain job. They are very well designed and the features are endless, it’s just up to you how much you want to get out there and explore. The padding is so comfortable, you don’t even know you have it on. Osprey are simply the best backpacks made, hands down. Thank You to Team Osprey!
