Essential Balm Gorgeous

I had two of these as free gifts, both colors are lovely, hydrating and feel good on the lips when there is a point. However once I had to sharpen, even with a big Trish sharpener, I lost a lot of product, almost half the pencil. The black coating was tough. Balm was very soft, and I never got it back to a nice point. The new balm in a lipstick case makes a lot more sense, no sharpening needed.

This balm by Trish Mcevoy, like most of her products, is fantastic. I was introduced to this early this spring and it has quickly become my go-to lip color. The balm goes on creamy and doesn't stain lips. I have both shades, but gorgeous pink is a much easier shade to wear every day; I like the coral color, but I haven't worn it recently now that fall shades are out in full force. I would also recommend getting the corresponding trish pencil sharpener (with two sharpeners), as the lip pencil is larger than normal. I swear by this product!

I’ve tried many, many other lip colors and luxury brands since this one is a pain to sharpen (it requires a large diameter sharpener). But, the Essential Balm Crayon just feels best when I want a pop of color vs just clear lip moisturizer. I’ve become smart and order 2-3 so one is always sharp for my purse and makeup vanity!
