I bought this brush to replace a Trish McEvoy eye blending brush I purchased 15-20 years ago. This is absolutely the best brush for applying and blending eyeshadow. Take good care of it and you will get years and years of use.

stiffer than most other Trish brushes
I bought this because I thought the white bristles would be great for controlling color (which they are...you can see exactly how much color you'll be transferring). However, the bristles are much stiffer on this brush than other eyeshadow brushes I've used by Trish McEvoy. My skin is ultrasensitive to brushes (the majority of them make my skin burn/sting when I apply makeup), which was why I had switched to TM, but this one hasn't lived up to the standards set by her other brushes for me.

Nice size, long, picks up right amount of shadow
I feel it was a lot less dense then she had showed on her online video at her site.
It's a nice brush for applying shadow and blending it's soft w/ just enough firmness. I am have so many of her GREAT brushes and the best way to learn about them is through her videos..[this is new to me and I think her site!] after seeing the 'how to' again I applied my eyeshadow much better. I use her other brushes and they truly make your application much more precise, and more flawless then others.
This is a smaller flatter brush - love how it's not too long.. perfect size!
Don't expect this to be like her medium laydown brush which is dense/firm
[which I find highly versatile for other products now], this blending brush doesn't pick up a ton of powder so it's doing a good job for me who does want a heavy shadow look on my eyes, and the brush has white hair so you can see how much you are applying- I'm liking it more with each use, as it picks up just enough shadow - I may buy another -one for light shadow shades one for my deeper!

Does more than I thought.
When I opened the package it was not what I thought. Then I used it. Wow. Now I won’t be able to apply eye makeup without it. I thought it was too stiff....but it really works. In the crease and to blend. A little practice.

Must have
Love this brush. I use it for applying and blending shadow in crease of eye. So soft on the lid, picks up perfect amount of shadow and blends beautifully. Was a bit skeptical as brush costs a bit more, but worth it. Based on other reviews, if brush is taken care of, can last years. I use it on an almost daily basis. I will definitely be investing in other brushes in the future.
