Best Ever Eye Lining Brush #11
I have just replaced this brush after long, hard use!
This brush allows one to use powdered eye shadows as a soft liner that
is naturally smudged.
So this allows great versatility with a few well chosen eye shadow powders.
This brush also is great for those with extremely sensitive skin/multiple allergies.
One can use a completely non-irritating eye shadow as a liner and avoid
solvents, waxes, etc, that can cause reactions for those with extremely sensitive
eyes,
Read the technique for application carefully. Following these instructions gives
the desired results. Go to to the counter and seek help to perfect the technique
and to experiment with different colors.
This is by far the best brush I have every purchased. It is one of the essential
make-up brushes which I always have at hand at home or while travelling.

Stiff
I have always used a brush to apply my eyeliner so I don't think it's my technique. I just think that this brush is really stiff and hard. It almost feels like applying eyeliner on with a razor. Yes, I've washed it. I think that the angled eyeliner brush is a much more comfortable way to apply eyeliner. If you need a precise line, and I mean razor sharp precise, this would be the brush for you!

Not My Thing
No. 11 isn't for me. This is my fourth Trish brush. The Lucite handles attract me, and the brushes are good. Win-win. I read that No. 11 was Trish McEvoy's first brush that she created from buying and cutting brushes from art-supply shops. I watched a video--head up, look down at the mirror, hold the brush like you'd hold a popsicle. It works OK on the upper lid (lash line) only, but it's too stiff, as other reviews stated. I would return it, but I used it with eye shadow on my eyebrows, defining the top and the ends. It could be useful. Or, I can wash it and give it to a friend.
I have ordered the Trish angle brush #50. I have a good Hakuhodo-brand angle brush. I wanted a backup/second angle brush. I sometimes use two shadow colors to line my eyes and don't like them all gooped on a single brush. I have enough new brushes now.

Best eyeliner brush ever
I've owned my brush for five years now, and the bristles are still in great shape. I wash my brush only in the Trish McEvoy shampoo every few weeks and am very happy with this brush.

Best ever eye liner for powder products
I have struggled with a gazillion creams, pencils, gels, etc and this is the only product that works for me as an eyeliner, coupled with the powder eye definer also by TM, for eyelid or under bottom lashes.

Excellent definition
Simply the best eyeliner tool I've ever had - great placement in the lashline - with the flexibility for a light or heavy touch. After using this and eye definer - I can't go to a different eyeliner brush or back to a pencil liner. A must have.
