What it does: The NuFACE Trinity Toning kit comes with the NuFACE Trinity Facial Trainer, a microcurrent treatment attachment FDA-cleared to gently stimulate the larger surface areas of the face. actually works on mature skin

My skin was not wrinkled, had no under eye bags, had no crows feet, but dreadful jowl sag- I bought this because of Nordie's return policy. I won't return it. For my skin condition, I had noticeable results in 3 weeks; 6 weeks it seemed as if I had had plastic surgery- the jowls are gone. No it is not a way to return to 16 year old facial condition; I had very good line free skin that was sagging- I have the same very good skin and it is not sagging. This is a solution to plastic surgery but it did take time.

I so wanted NuFace to work

I researched the heck out of NuFace before ordering mine from Nordstrom. I searched and read reviews from multiple sites. I read articles about micro-current technology. I did this research off and on over about six-week period before I finally felt like the purchase was worth my time and money. I really wanted NuFace to work. I carefully read the instruction manual and the "my NuFace" website. I watched instructional videos. I educated myself before using my NuFace. After the first use, my face was bright red. My cheeks were exceptionally red. I had red lines on my forehead in the path where the NuFace passed. The red lines on my forehead subsided in about two hours, however my cheeks only slightly changed from a darker shade of red to a slightly lesser shade of red. Thankfully, I work from home so I didn't have to leave the house with red lines on my forehead and bright red cheeks. I wanted to persevere with NuFace, so I tried it again the next day. Once again, I got red lines on my forehead and an even redder cheek. Upon looking in a magnifying mirror, I noticed many broken capillaries on my cheeks that weren't there before NuFace. I checked my NuFace manual for any mention of redness. On page 8, under the Warnings section, it says, "Potential adverse reactions may include skin irritation or redness." I just can't keep a product that causes so much redness and broken capillaries. I've scheduled a laser treatment that's supposed to calm the redness. I hope it will reverse the damage NuFace did. NuFace may very well work for you. I think the technology seems solid. But, I think if you are prone to get redness, then it is not worth the risk.

Requires Commitment

After using the Trinity for 75 days, I notice a nice but subtle change in facial tone. NuFace Trinity is rechargeable and the cradle does not take up a lot of space. The design is ergonomic, easy to hold. The removable head is easy to clean, however, there are no "interchangeable heads" as described. There is only one head available. The timer helps to guide the procedure movement. The conductivity gel dries too quickly, is tacky and too expensive. I prefer to use aloe vera gel, it works perfectly! I recommend this device to anyone that is willing to make a commitment of 10 minutes a day. It does not "lift" - the device stimulates the facial muscles. This stimulation helps to increase facial muscle tone. With the commitment, the results are SUBTLE, yet noticeable. I do see a more toned and sculpted face. FYI, after the first few uses, I was able to do it without looking in the mirror. So easy to do the treatment while watching tv. For an added boost, I add hyaluronic acid or my favorite face serum five minutes before beginning the treatment. The gel must be used during the treatment. Aloe vera works best for me. I did not give five stars because it is expensive here and the trial period is not the best available.

Awesome device!

I love this device, although I have not seen the interchangeable heads as the Nuface company states, the head that is on the device does work just fine, although, a smaller head would let you get into smaller areas of your face, much easier (above lip and under lip). The gel tends to be a little expensive, so I tend to use pure Aloe Vera gel and it works, just fine, you get the same effect. I actually have noticed a change in the look and texture of my skin, but you do need to do it in the beginning everyday at least for the first month, now, I just use it about 3 times a week to keep up the look. I love this device!! The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because the gel is very expensive ($16), they should tell you that Aloe Vera does the same thing and it costs about $13 dollars less. My dermotologist suggested using the Aloe Vera because thats what they use in the hospital for most things that use the conductivity system to work.

The NuFace - still old face

I gave this gizmo over six months. I've used it at least 5 - 6 times a week and I don't see any improvement whatsoever. I don't understand why so many people seem to think that not only it works over time but that they see visible results immediately. Maybe my skin is impervious to it or perhaps people just deceive themselves and see what they want to see. Anyway, it's a waste of money. I'm thankful for Nordstrom's fantastic return policy.

Little to no improvement

I used this for 2 months and saw very little difference. The gel is messy and dries out quickly. It is too time consuming for little to no results. Dermatologist stated this makes the muscles slightly "puffed" causing subtle temporary tightening / lifting of skin. It would only last in terms of hours. He advised to use my money wisely for things that actually work and have history of evidence - real results. I was hoping this would reduce "11" frown lines- they didn't improve with Nuface in the slightest. Botox is the only way to reduce or eliminate expression lines. Topicals such as Tretinoin and vitamin c are the only noninvasive ways to tighten skin by building collagen over time with longer lasting improvements. Microneedling is another Increasing collagen and elastin will help sagging, aging skin. I'm looking into supplements too.

Really works and lifts the face!

I purchased the NuFace Trinity device and it does work and lifts your face for several hours. I do not have much sagging as of yet, just some minor stuff. You must keep using it and I bought it to keep me from the plastic surgeon for a few more years. It worked well on my jawline, laugh lines, cheek area and eyebrows. It was actually amazing to me that such a product does what it says it does. But, if your face is really droopy it would not be the device for you and you may need to see a plastic surgeon for a consult. I do not have any injections to my face, no botox and no fillers ever. It is poison. You Tube has good tutorials also as well as the ladies at Nordstrom can help you out if you have any questions. For me it was money well spent.

Don’t Ruin Your Skin

I used the ONE TIME and it immediately broke capillaries in my skin! I spent $3000 having it repaired. If you are prone to rosacea, or are light skinned, DO NOT USE THIS THING. I promise, you’ll regret it.

LOVE THIS!

I wasn't sure about this at first BUT after using this consistantly it works! People say "Wow you look great and rested" They don't know that I am using the nuFace.....I also am using the attachment for wrinkles that came out in December...I am loving it too...... I think people who say they don't like it are not using it consistantly......It does take time but not so much it can't be done in your routine.

Unsure

I have been using this device for 4 months...read instructions and watched the video. I have also have had subtle results. Suggestion of using aloe vera gel sounds better than Nuface gel as it does dry out on skin... I have yet to see a lot of toning. This product had claimed to be a "5-minute face lift" which I find untrue...We shall see....Glad purchased from Nordstrom becasue of their return policy.

Amazing

After researching the NuFace trinity I thought I'd give it a try, knowing if I didn't like it Nordstrom would gladly take it back. I'm definitely keeping it! My eyelids have always looked a bit droopy and I'm starting to get saggy jowls and forehead wrinkles. I noticed a slight overall improvement after the first use. After continued use I saw a wonderful difference. On some mornings if my eyes are puffy from my allergies I use it to help lift my lids and I look much better. I have received compliments such as "you look like you've been getting more rest lately" or "that haircut makes you look younger" only I haven't changed my hair style! My favorite, "you look like you're in love." It's easy to use and after you've used it regularly for a few weeks it seems you can cut back on the number of treatments per week. I highly recommend this to anyone.

AMAZING! Blown away by the results

I am 41 years old and take really good care of my skin. I have very few wrinkles but I have some fine lines on my forehead. Nevertheless, being 41, I have noticed that my skin does not have that same tightness that it had 20 years ago. I bought this as a Christmas present for myself and upon using it just one time, I am completely amazed! The product is really easy to use...put the gel on the area you wish to treat and then swipe the device upwards. Apply the gel to the next area you want to treat and swipe that area. Once complete you will notice that your skin is so much tighter and lifted....it is simply amazing. The fine lines on my forehead are diminished...not gone completely but diminished. I also have a bit of sagging in my neck just under my chin....a few swipes there and that area is lifted. It is absolutely amazing!!! I find that the results fade in about 24 hours so I conduct this ritual each morning....it does not take very long (you do not need to use the device for the entire 20 minute period....5 minutes is just fine). The results are subtle...I do not look like I am 20 years old...but I notice the difference. My makeup goes on easier and the fine lines on my forehead look much better.
