I like it
I like this, but I wish Shiseido had not discontinued its Benifiance Softening Lotion. I actually preferred that one to this one, but this is good. I do think it is overpriced, however.

Terrible, harsh, drying.
I have used the Benefiance softener for years and have loved it. This is a poor substitute. This is harsh and drying. I returned it.

Shiseido quality
I have used Shiseido products for over 40 years. I have never had a breakout or been disappointed with the products. This was a new toner for me since unfortunately Nordstrom no longer carried the one I wanted. I gave it a try and it is still true, I am not disappointed by this toner. It was non drying as it prepared my skin for my moisturizer. On really hot nights I skip the moisturizer and just put this on and my skin feels protected.

Best skin softer EVER!
I love this! The best skin softener I have ever used so far!Makes your skin so soft and so supple The moment you apply it. It doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin and doesn’t irritate my eyes(which is common reaction I have with many face products) I will be so upset if this gets discontinued. Please make/keep this product forever.

I would buy this softener again.
I use this softener treatment each morning after cleansing my face and each evening after removing makeup and cleansing my face. I love the way it leaves my skin feel softer and more moist. I seems to help the serum which I apply after it absorb well.
