V-Neck Sweater

This sweater is yummy to the touch. It's a really nice shade of black and it feels divine. The sleeves are a little long and a little narrow, in my opinion, and I've been making clothes for myself and others all my life. The body of the sweater fits as expected, so I gave it a "true to size" rating. I haven't worn it anywhere yet but when I tried it on with jeans, it was a perfect casual but nice look. You can dress it up with a scarf or necklace and it goes there too.

I wish I had watched the video presentation of the sweater as the lady does state that it has a "loose" fit and you can wear something else under it... And when you look at the model it does have a slouchy look. I wasn't expecting it too look so big. I bought a Size 2X in the Pink Smoke, to accommodate my heavy chest and wide arms, but it looks like a size 3 or 4X. The color is beautiful and quality better than another sweater I bought. It's not impossibly big so I may keep it as I am in desperate need of work clothes now that I am returning to the office Post Pandemic and the process to exchange for the price will be a waste of my time, especially if the 1X will still look big.

I purchased the navy shade in my usual 2x and the drop seam on the sleeves was uncomfortable and the front of the sweater hit about 4 inches shorter than on the model. I'm sure it's one part my ample chest, but it also measured 3 inches shorter than the measurements given on the description page. The material is nice and lightweight and soft to the touch, but that's about all it had going for it. I was looking for a lightweight, oversized sweater, but this just hung awkwardly and the sleeve seams were annoying enough to return this.
