'Sadler' Penny Loafer

Great shoe for dressing up or down. the color is fantastic; it is kind of a chameleon of a color, it can go chocolate or charcoal depending on the rest of the outfit. Easy to break in, well made and I was able to get the matching belt on Trasks' website Normally I am a wide, but these are generous enough or soft enough on the sides - anyway it wasn't a problem I normally am an 11, but more true is the european size 45, so in this case the 45 was a size 12 and that's what I went with. European sizes are more consistent; if they show the inches, that's even better.

These are gorgeous well made loafers. The pebbled black leather is truly a step up from my old school smooth oxblood loafers. They do run large; I had to re-order a size down.

These are a very classy update to a penny loafer. Super buttery soft leather that is comfortable and good looking as well. Goes well with a nice pair of jeans or dress pants. For is true to size. I’d buy them again.

I bought a pair 3 years ago and wore them almost daily in all conditions and they held up well. I didn't use shoe trees and didn't take particularly good care of them - impressed with how they took a beating. I wish they were goodyear welted since resoling them would be my preferred option instead of buying a new pair. I will buy a new one, and just wear them as my Thursday/Friday shoes at the office. They will probably last 5-6 years. Nice looking, and useful shoes.
