The Best 1/4 Zip for skiing!
My partner and I both have a version of this quarter zip and wear it EVERY time we go skiing. It's lightweight, breathable, and so comfortable. I wish they had more options.

Great Addition to my Trail Mix arsenal
This is my third variety of an OR trail mix jacket I've ordered. I'm a big fan of OR's Trail Mix line up. The fleece is comfortable and manages temperature swings well. This particular one I used for both outdoor activities and professional medical settings (EMS black 1/4 zip). I value it a lot for its comfort when going back and forth between cold and warm environments. The abdominal pocket is great, with openings big enough for easy access but not too large that items easily fall out. The small phone sleeve within the pocket is a nice touch for smaller objects.
Something I've noticed with this quarter-zip is that due to it's more weather-resistant, structure shoulder panel, it has a little less mobility in the shoulders. I have rather broad shoulders so this is something I might notice more than others. While I think the benefits of this design are nice, I'm more prone to grab my original Trail Mix zip-up hoody for more active adventures.
Final note, good job OR for keeping the chest pocket on this one.
