A size 13 is too wide for my 13 EEEE foot
For the shoe to fit my foot I had to cinch up the shock cord as tight as it would go. That leaves a huge excess of conch cord sticking up.
The shoe feels great and looks great. However, the shock cord cannot be tucked anywhere. It's just a huge pair of 4-in parabolic loops sticking up from the top of each shoe.
It looks ridiculous, and almost a guaranteed chance that you will eventually have something get snagged in that loop. It's not a free loop. It's attached at both ends.
I'm going to try a size 12 and see if that's any better. I haven't worn a size 12 since I was in 10th grade though.
