So chic!!
I was after a timeless trench coat as an investment piece and this checked all my boxes! Love the arm strap details. I agree with others, it runs quite large!! I’m usually a size 8 and am wearing a 4.

Runs HUGE
I purchased size 32 and it still looked like a large bag on me. Super unflattering and my husband who’s 6ft4 was able to fit into it so that’s telling you how large it runs. I expected better for the price.

coat is not as pictured
The coat I received was not as pictured. One reason I liked this style was no belt. The one I received had belt loops and a belt in pocket. This coat clearly was returned several times as it was a wrinkled mess, was even shipped in a small box.. I sadly returned. I expect better from you, Nordstrom.

Elegant, Minimalist
Hate a belt? Always leave it hanging, or somehow lose it? Usually tie the belt behind? This is the coat for us. An elegant yet easy trench in a long fit with an oversized feel that lies smoothly over jackets and sweaters. I am normally a size 10/42 in coats, but followed the advice of other purchasers to size down and purchased an 8/40. By way of reference I am 5'10" and this trench hits at my mid calf/covers boot tops. Ideal gabardine weight for three season wear for travel or city walking.
