Kitten Heel Flip Flop (Women)

These are nice sandals, very sexy. The reason I returned them is twofold: 1) they came with a plain leather sole and one would really need to add a layer of rubber on the bottom by a good shoe repair place like Leather Spa (usually runs upward from $60 if you do it right) to make them safer and more comfortable to walk in. An oversight on the manufacturer's part? Sandals this flimsy need a rubber sole for gripping the floor or sidewalk and for padding and comfort to walk in. And 2) there is absolutely no support or padding on the inner sole. I just felt these were going to be uncomfortable to walk in for ANY amount of time, but could be great for a short time - say standing up for an hour at a cocktail party or something, or if you have a limo. Very beautiful shoe, just not useful for me.

I’m still debating about keeping these because they are beautiful and well constructed, but they’re extremely stiff and the thong hurts between my toes. I can’t tell yet if it will soften with wear. They’re exactly the style I’ve been searching for, TTS, with a walkable heel, so I’m torn. I haven’t found anything else that looks quite like this so I might just suffer through the discomfort and hope that once they’re broken in that they’re more comfortable. I’d love to know what others have found after wearing them in.

These look great. They do run a little large in length. Width is nice. They are extremely stiff which is not an issue for a flat but the combination of being stiff, a thong, and a heel even though it’s low makes them extremely awkward to walk in. So sad because I love the look but these were not well thought out when they were designed.
