Pretty, not great function
The bread box is beautiful and spacious however there is no ventilation, so it is not a great design to keep bread fresh. There’s too much moisture that builds up inside

A practical item to enjoy for a long long time!
The breadbox is roomy enough to store not just baked goods if one ever decides to use it for something else. Solid construction and aesthetically designed. The wooden handle adds an understated focal point. We have been enjoying it and our baked goods since received the item two wks ago.
