'York' Buckle Tote

I absolutely love the shape, color, and amount of space in this tote. It looks like leather but it's not, which makes it really easy to keep clean. I also love the understated logo. However, the straps (outside piping) on my bag started breaking about five months after use. My friend also owns a Tory Burch, and this happened with her bag as well. I am very disappointed with the quality and will be looking to return this. It's a shame as the bag is absolutely adorable.

I purchased this bag for work and occasional travel. What I like most about the bag is that it looks very classy and professional, the material does not show that much wear after five months of straight heavy use, and it is large enough to fit both regular and legal-size files. I have gotten several compliments on the bag. However, I would not recommend this bag for heavy work or travel use because: -the top is completely open so if you are frequently going through security checks and the bag falls over (and it will) any keys, phones, or other small items will fall out of the pockets -the straps are very thin and the leather is very stiff, so if you load up the bag, the straps dig in uncomfortably into your shoulders -the phone pocket just barely fits the iPhone 6, it often gets stuck while trying to pull it out -the bag does not have two "true" compartments, stuff does slide underneath the laptop pocket as it is not attached to the bottom of the bag

I have seen this bag online and finally ordered it. Read the reviews and all seemed to be positive. However, NO ONE, had ever mentioned the fact that this bag is unlined and the so called lavish saffiano is cheaply made. I love TB products, but this is so cheaply made that if you removed the small logo infront, there is no way you would guess this is a TB product. Bag will be returned.

I've had the bag for about a year. I liked the shape of the bag and the durable saffiano leather. However, I've had trouble with the straps. First, the straps started separating from the bag itself. Second, the plastic coating on the sides of the straps came loose. I did not carry a laptop or even an iPad in the bag so I don't think I stressed the bag very much. Unfortunately, I've heard that this is a common problem with this bag. All in all, the York Buckle tote has been a disappointment as I expected far better craftsmanship. I hope Tory Burch acts on this feedback and improves the quality of her bags.

I really love this bag, or at least I did. Everything about the design is great, the laptop sleeve is a bonus, and gives me the option to have a work bag or tote/purse ad hoc without having to switch bags, just take out the laptop. That being said, I've had this for roughly 6 weeks, and the true lack of quality is beginning to show. I am not rough on my purses, and the straps on this are already starting to fall apart. The edges are glued, not sewn, and as a result, the glue has already started to peel off in the middle of both straps, and the threads are sticking out. What was once a beautiful bag now just looks like a cheap tote. Very disappointing.

I have had this item for approximately six months. It is starting to come apart at the handles and one of the bottom corners. Will be taking it back.
