Small Kira Diamond Quilted Leather Shoulder Bag

This bag is perfection. It's exactly what I was looking for times I don't need my full-size handbag and for going out. At one time, I had purchased the Kira Chevron Convertible Shoulder Bag in literally all four colors (LOL), k but there was something not just right about the bag. Don't get me wrong... it's a beautiful bag but personally I felt it was a little too large for what I was looking for and the flap made it awkward to open with the heavy chain strap always getting in the way. It felt a little clumsy. I also purchased that style in the diamond quilt, but it was too poofy with the fold over flap. This bag has a magnetic opening that actually stays closed so it's very easy to open. I love the double chain strap that does not adjust; it stays at just the right height to wear on the shoulder, making it look and feel a little dressier (but that's what I was after). The other Kira I tried in both chevron and quilt had the option to wear a double strap too, but it was always sliding back to the extremely long version making it look and feel quite awkward (it fell to mid-thigh and I'm 5'5" for reference). This small Kira bag also has a very thin leather strap if you wish to use it as a crossbody or a longer shoulder version. Nice touch! The color is perfect and although I'd love to find this bag in black or other colors, the taupe color will go with everything. It's a truer taupe than the picture on the website depicts which is more of a camel. Love, love, love!
