Purse strap doesn’t work
The purse strap design is not what I expected. From the first time I opened the package it kept slipping back out of the slot. I carried the purse once, when lifting it out of my vehicle by the strap it came loose and my purse fell to the ground. It needs a different way to keep the strap attached for a heavier purse. I have other Tory bags in this size range and they are perfect. This particular style is heavier, stiffer, and not what I expect for the $300-$600 range.

Just okay
I had high hopes for this bag but unfortunately it must go back. The bag is very stiff, which seems to be a trend with any new Tory bag. Also, like another reviewer mentioned, the strap is really too short to wear as a cross body bag, it hits right on the hip and is not comfortable to wear. For reference. I am 5’6 with a short torso and all my other cross body bags hit just below the hip bone. Sadly this bag is going back to the store.

not what I expected
Brown version was pretty. Indifferent on the stiffness or the size. It hits me above the hip as I prefer (crossbody). The gold chain doesn’t look elevated. There is something cheap-feeling/looking about it. Also don’t love the toggle attachment of the strap. I’ve lost a bracelet that had a toggle closure (without even realizing it!) so I shy from that all together now… especially on a pocketbook. Will return or exchange for something else.
