The cut out gives this handbag a little something extra. It’s an ideal size for concert venues with handbag size restrictions, but roomy enough for essentials.

You can put your fingers through it and see the contents you put inside. if you placed a stud earrings to hold they could potentially fall out if the bag fell. If you don't mind that then buy it because it really is a beautiful bag. Just don't put coins in it or small items that could slip out, example an airpod. Just a thought.
