Patos Platform Slide Sandal (Women)

I want to love these sandals. I do love these sandals but after wearing less then 10 times this is what I am left with. This would not get it to me if I had not paid so much for them. Just disappointed.. People love the sandals and tell.me so, but once they look up close their opinions change. Any one else have this issue? I cant be the only one..

TB website described these as the most comfortable shoes they ever made...YES!!! Just the right amount of height without worrying about rolling an ankle. Footbed is heaven and not too high of and arch to be uncomfortable. Beautiful soft leather too. Always wear 8.5 in TB and these were spot on. Reason for 4 star...strap is loose and anticipate the soft leather to stretch and dealing with my foot to sliding thru the front. Paid 3x for another brand with wide criss cross straps and a year later the shoes were unwearable...so take note. Also with the Birk slightly wide footbed and loose strap these would not be good for ladies with narrow foot.

I first bought the black and loved them! So I bought the brown color! I had a tendency to wear the black shoes and rarely wore the brown. So this past weekend I wore the brown and I noticed the side had peeled off in 2 places! There is no way that should have happened probably after like 8 times of wearing. I wanted to check the reviews to see if I had an isolated case. There are several reviews saying the same thing. My shoes though I bought May 2021 were In Excellent condition! I am going to try and at least get a store credit! I expect more from Tory Burch! Extremely disappointed!
