Miller Cloud Thong Sandal

I wanted to love them- I am fan of Birkenstocks & was so happy to see a bit less bulky version of them in TB collection. Color cognac is beautiful, sandals lightweight and nicely made, true to size, BUT... I couldn't wear original millers, because there's completely no support (just like cheap flats + strap between toes hurts). Here in clouds, foot stays nicely in the sandal (and looks nice and cozy), until you start walking. Sandals are slippery & make funny noises as someone said here before- justas the original millers did. There's no way as much arch support in TB as in Birkenstock. The part in the middle is flat, Birkenstock has it nicely shaped for the foot. Straps didn't hold my narrow foot at all (they're placed way lower than in Birkenstock gizeh or Arizona, maybe that's why), in fact when walking in my kitchen, sandal fell off my foot, and I stepped right on its edge- which hurt. Not what I'd expect from 200$ sandal, I returned. If you want them for the logo- go for it, but for comfort I wouldn't recommend these. Very much overpriced & overrated. And for the record, I do own some other TB shoes & like them. Just the sandals aren't worth it for me. Hope that helps! :)

I purchased these less than one month ago and look at the wear on them. I've only worn them a handful of times. Not at all what I was expecting from $200 sandals.

Yes, these shoes make flatulent noises when you walk in them. However, I put a large stretchy bandaid on the bottom of my foot across the arch and it eliminated the suction - and the noise is gone. I tried a smaller bandaid as well and it works but not as consistently.

Looove these Cloud Sandals!!!! I wear a size 7, size 6.5 in the regular Miller Sandals. The 6.5 in the Cloud Sandals looked like boats on my feet, so I tried the size 6. They fit perfectly and look gorgeous! Unfortunately I was one who experienced noise when I walked—kind of like the sound of a loud sticker peeling off with each step. These fashion insoles from Walgreens ($12.99 for a pack of 3) solved the noise problem completely and made these shoes EVEN MORE comfortable! I immediately bought the light blue in addition to the black. I will be wearing these all summer!

Reading peoples reviews makes things very confusing when it comes to Tory Burch shoes for some reason. Here are my thoughts on peoples comments. For the people that say they are big go down a half size- this isn’t always the case. I bought my traditional size and it fits wonderfully. Normally a 9, bought a 9, would buy another 9. If I went down any size- the foot would hang over the very end. My guess is for the people who sized down- it has to be because they have narrow feet. If you have narrow you can probably size down a half size because the width of these are large than the traditional millers. If you have regular feet- stick with your true size. For the people who say they don’t fit like Birkenstock’s- duh. They aren’t, so how could they? People just mean they have a similar bottom and look. These are wider and don’t have to worry about the traditional narrowness of a Miller. For the people who have narrow feet they probably will like the traditional Miller better. For me, it just didn’t work for the traditional ones- my foot would come out when I walked and hang slightly over the edge. These ones on the other hand have been great since the moment I tried them on. More comfortable and my foot fits nicely in the shoe. Not tight not loose- just right. For noise- I have had no issues. I’m wondering if it’s a certain kind of floor that makes an issue. One person said that she had no noise at the store and at home there was. So I don’t think there is going to be noises every second, but maybe sometimes. I’ve tried it on carpet, tile and hardwood and so far I’ve had no noise. Everyone is different so you got to go with what is right for you. I personally think these are amazing and want another color. The fit is great, it’s nice to get my traditional size, the style is perfect! I have no issues at all! I’m in love! (I purchased the aged camello- and the brown is simply gorgeous! I absolutely love it)

I am in love with this sandal. I have wide feet but decided to try them anyway. So happy I did! They fit my wide feet without looking like I squeezed my foot in it. They’re soft and comfortable to walk in. And best of all they match my Tory bucket purse perfectly!!
