Zebra Print Ruffle & Pleat Long Sleeve Maxi Dress

I love the flowy, vintage party hostess vibe of this dress! Normally I would avoid synthetic fabrics, especially 100% polyester, but for colder weather I found it absolutely fine; I plan to wear it into the spring as long as it is not humid. The waist is fitted and there is no elastic there so that area felt quite tight compared to the rest of the dress, but it looks fabulous with the big sleeves. I always have to size up one size in TopShop - I bought a size 6 and in most brands I usually wear a 4. It is quite long and I'm quite short but I tried it with heels (boots) and it was fine.

I tried this in two sizes. The smaller of the two was the correct choice. Because of the statement sleeve and the voluminous skirt, that trim little waistline is key. Like the previous reviewer said, this definitely has party hostess vibes. It is just fun. And it has that cutting edge I have always appreciated from Topshop. The lining is a mini skirt, so if you want it more modest, you'll need to wear black tights or a long slip. Or wear it sexy, like Alexis Rose, with bare legs. If you see a size smaller than your usual, I say give it a go. Enjoy!
