Jamie High Waist Ankle Skinny Jeans

I got these a lil over a month ago and they have completely blown out and have stretch marks all over them. they fit great when I wear them with a lil extra room to spare so very shocked that the denim did this.

When I first got these jeans I liked them a lot! The ankle hit the perfect spot for me and they became my favorite jeans. I really liked the stretch and the denim is a perfect color. However, fast forward a few months and I put them on one day and I noticed that there appeared to be a tiny hole forming in the butt. I look inside the jeans and sure enough the fabric was giving away in multiple areas on the butt. I never sat on rough or possibly damaging surfaces in these. I still wore them a few more times with a longer shirt to cover the hole on the butt. About a week after I noticed the original hole I pulled the jeans up and they ripped near one of the belt loops. I'm really glad I originally got these on sale because if I had paid full price I would be even more disappointed. I take really good care of my clothes and have owned some of my jeans for years with no problems! Disappointed because I really liked the color of the denim and the fit, but the quality does not match the price.

So I have bought these jeans twice and returned both times. I love the fit and how comfortable they are, but unfortunately both started to show signs of tearing within the month. The first time time the rip began near the edge of the back pocket and the second time the ripping by the crotch. If these jeans could at least last about a year then it would be worth it. I bought the same style in black and so far there is no sign of wear or tear, so it could be dependent on the material change for different washes.

When I pulled these bad boys out of the box, they looked like they might be too small but they actually fit really well. I am 5'3'' 165 lb and got the 32x30, which is a little bigger than I normally get (LOFT jeans in the same size are absolutely huge on me) but they're perfect. They have the right amount of stretch without being too stretchy. They fit both my wide hips/butt and my smaller waist - perfect fit for a pear shape. I have to say these are the most flattering skinny jeans I've ever tried on before. Very pleased so far, but only just arrived today, so we'll see. I'm planning on getting more Topshop jeans. Side note: Nordstrom shipping is extremely fast!

My favorite pair of jeans I have ever bought! No, seriously, I own 5 of them (but two have been retired). I usually wear a size 28, but for these jeans I have to wear a size 30, so I recommend buying a size up. I will say, the color does fade eventually. I would also recommend not putting them in the dryer (the tag says do not tumble dry) because where the belt loop is, and the part that covers the zipper, seems to rip after a few months of wear. Also, after a few wears, the jeans stretch out.

I've had these jeans (same colorway) for about 3-4 months. They are my favorite, and fit perfectly... I hardly wash them - however, I did last night, and now the crotch (which seemed fine before) is totally blown out. Will buy another pair simply because they fit so great. But a total bummer that I know they will only last a few months. Would be great if Topshop up'd the quality on these.
