Topogrid Water Resistant Pants

I carefully read the size chart and the reviews before choosing a size Large. The pants would be great for fly fishing or hiking (which I wanted them for) due to the quick dry fabric and stylish look. Colors are nice too (I bought Fossil). Unfortunately, I found the sizing off; the Large was like a Medium in Orvis or other high-end brands. The waist is 2 inches smaller and too tight across the abdomen as another reviewer also stated. I am a senior and returning them would not be worth it. I should have ordered an XL and I would have loved them for the intended activities. We support Freefly products whenever we can, as they are a quality company with quality merchandise.

The pockets are the best part, but the pants are super comfortable, flattering and light weight. Size (S) and length are perfect (I'm 5'5", 125 lbs). I can't say enough about the pockets - they're amazing for everything you need to travel or just go about your day - on the water, on your bike, whatever. I love these!

I found Free Fly through using AI in a search for clothes to fit my small and petite frame. I am 5'2" and weigh 86 lbs. I have a very boyish lower half - no hips and a small waist. Pants are a problem for me. I am over the moon with the Topogrid Pant! I purchased the XS and they fit me wonderfully. I wish that the inseam was perhaps an inch longer - but I can manage these with flats or sandals on without them looking like waders. ;) In addition, we live in the South where the no-see-um gnats are insufferable during the warm months and they like to bite me. I am allergic to their bite. The rip-stop fabric is lightweight so I can wear these all through the warm months when both the gnats and I like to be out and I will have the protection I need from the pesky bugs. All in all I feel like I have hit the lottery with the discovery of these pants. I immediately ordered more - both duplicates of the colors I first received and additional colors that I didn't initially order. I hope that Free Fly expands their color options in the future. I am a fan! Don't stop creating clothing for those of us who are petite!
