Natural Matte Eyeshadow Palette

Excellent palette. This was Too Faced before it started turning makeup into FOOD! Or vice-versa! It is fragrance free, has excellent, usable, versatile shades, and is a perfect size for travel. I have gifted this palette because it works so well for most skintones and undertoness, except perhaps for the very darkest. I used to travel with 3 Too Faced palettes: this one, the original natural palette which is slightly cooler and has some shimmer shades, and a French named LE one in this original configuration that had more color, but still had beautiful neutral and warm tones just with even more shimmer. Those 3 could go anywhere and do anything. I have gradually migrated to more peachy, warm brown and copper shades, as opposed to more neutral shades, because they highlight my coloring so well, shades much like the bottom row of this palette. I have tried to buy the brown in the lower right of this palette individually, to no avail. Too Faced migrated to more warm toned palettes as well, but they make them chocolate, gingerbread, pumpkin and peach scented. Strongly scented. Beautiful colors that I cannot go near because of the very strong fragrance that I cannot tolerate. Please Too Faced, I am one of your original customers, please give up the gimmicky food flavored makeup and return to your quality roots. Well made makeup in shades that appeal to a wide group of customers, priced competitively and focus on the makeup, not the food you want it to remind us of. Trust your customers to know that brown colors resemble chocolate, copper colors resemble gingerbread, and warm pinky orange shades resemble peaches. Use names to relay this information, but make quality makeup artist inspired products without added fragrances or ingredients that are unnecessary or unhealthy. Your products still have a very loyal following, especially with the addition of your hugely popular foundation (no fragrance thank you). You will win back my business and probably that of many more people than teenage girls who want to smell like chocolate or pumpkin, and can handle it. This has been remade a few times, and some of the color names have changed, but it is the original Natural Matte Palette that is fragrance free, can stand alone and do multiple eye makeup looks, and is an excellent travel companion due to its compact size and versatility. Whatever Too Faced has done with its more recent releases, this is still a reliable basic in any makeup wardrobe.

I had the original version of this product which was wonderful! Great to have matte shades with good pigment that blended easily. This, however, does not blend well AT ALL! Left clumps of color that could not be smoothed out with brushes or fingers. The "heaven" shade comes off as the color of old school chalk. Really unflattering. Also, the case itself is oversized, heavy and the clasp sticks making it tricky to open. Therefore, even if I had liked the shades, it would have been difficult to fit in my travel makeup case. All in all a terrible product. If I could return it, I would!
