'Nantes' Silk Stripe Sandal (Women)

These are really, really, really cute and are a step up from most other sandals in terms of their style. I haven't seen a sandal of this style before, their very unique without drawing too much attention. Their about an inch tall in the heel, which is nice for adding height without looking too tall like the classic espadrille heel. I usually wear size 7.5-8US. The 38EU fit but was pretty snug in the toe box and my heel was just starting to spill over the back end. I went with the 39EU and they fit really well without anything feeling tight. I got the Natural color and it goes with just about everything, especially jeans. It's slightly darker in color than the whitish-cream that the picture shows. It's more of a toupe/tanish-cream. They still look really cute though! The three side straps are stretchy so you can slide your foot in easier. The foot bed has a slight cushion, but I could see it smooshing out pretty quickly. Also, if you have long big-toe nails, I would be careful because the top fabric feels fragile and since it sits right on top of your toes, it could easily get a hole worn into it by a long toenail. I ended up putting a Band-Aid on the inside right above my big toe just to protect the fabric better. I would consider ordering two sizes and sending one back. Nordstrom does free shipping both ways so nothing lost there. VERY VERY CUTE THOUGH.
