My Sandal Obsession

Ok girls, you know what it's like to see a pair of shoes on someone and you JUST HAVE TO HAVE them? Well I have no shame when it comes to shoes. I walked up to a complete stranger last week and begged her to tell me where she got her amazingly super cute sandals. Well in truth, the stranger was the public health nurse presenting the health trainings for the elementary school staff at the school where I teach. Do you think I was listening to the training? Well, yes of course - I wouldn't put my love of shoes above my love for my students - but I did think twice! I searched the web while I listened intently to the presentation and to my dismay , found that there were NO size 7's to be found. Lucky for me, I live near the BEST Nordstrom on the planet - really it's the best! After the presentations I made a bee-line to call the Tyson's Corner Virginia Nordstrom phone number. I was greeted by a lovely young woman who completely understood a shoe obsession. Long story short? My beautiful obsession arrived 48 hours later delivered by Dan the Mail man - who exclaimed "another pair of shoes Miss?" The sandals are ADORABLE! So comfortable - I mean really comfortable with a wonderful padded insole, . true to size and did I mention they are too cute? I was SO surprised they are by TOMS - so now I have a great pair of sandals AND someone who really needs shoes will be receiving a pair from TOMS! Why do I love shoes so much? No one EVER tried on a pair of shoes and exclaimed "Do these shoes make me look fat?"

Cute for narrow feet

Very cute, but not great for wide feet. I love Toms shoes and have several pairs, but these just don't work for my wide feet. The front strap pinches really hard. I thought I could possibly wear for a few hours out to dinner, but there's no way.

In Love!

I’m short and straps around the ankles don’t normally look good on me, but these look amazing! Perfect height and yet, so comfortable! These are my summer go-to’s, especially when I want something slightly more elevated than just casual. I usually waiver between a 7.5 and 8 and I went with an 8 for these and they fit perfectly!

Don't buy!

Incredibly uncomfortable. When you see "Toms" you think comfort. Something really off about this shoe. I'm hoping they'll work for someone else, I'm giving to Goodwill.

All Winning Over Here!

These shoes are comfy and look great with my cankles! I am petite and I consider my legs pretty stumpy - so any shoes with ankle straps only make that situation worse, but these shoes look great! I am also pale and these shoes are lighter than my skin tone, and it's so neutral they seem to go with everything. No pokes, no hurts on the toes, all winning over here.
