'Desert' Bootie

I bought these shoes in my classic TOMS size, which is 6.5 (i'm a 7 in other shoes) and it fits perfectly. So comfortable, and i wear these for 9 hours at a time. These booties are so cute and the height of the heel is perfect for casual or business casual. The bottom is rubber so the heel doesnt make a loud click-clacking sounds, which is good since my hallways at work are super echo-ey. The only concern that I have for them is that they do crease right where the toes bend. And because it's suede, the creases are more obvious. In any event, they are still wonderful. I got the taupe ones. Thinking about getting them in black too.

I have had these shoes for a week now and cannot say enough about them. I have two little kids and spend a lot of time walking (and running) around during the day. I also have plantar fasciitis, so wearing the wrong shoes during the day leads to throbbing feet at night. I can wear these shoes all day with no foot pain at all, and I have received all kinds of compliments on them to boot! (no pun intended) The shoes are modern but not overly trendy, go great with skinny jeans and give me a little extra height to satisfy my i'm-too-short complex without the pain of a "real" heel. I thought about getting these for months before I actually did, so if you are thinking about getting them, go ahead. You won't regret it!

I loved everything about this suede boot-fit perfect, great wedge heel, comfortable suede, but on the heel is a "TOM'S" tag that is not removeable. I thought of trying to black sharpee over it but that would leave a mark. I thought of a seam-ripper to remove the tag stitch by stitch, but underneath the stitching, it seems to be hot-glued on. Most unfortunate as these really are cute boots otherwise. If you're OK with an ugly looking TOM'S label that is baby blue and white, approx. 1 inch wide on the back of shoe, go for it. It is otherwise a really cute and comfortable shoe/bootie.

Cute? Yes. Comfortable? Surprisingly yes. However for $90 I expect a shoe NOT to fall apart after one day of wearing them. The "suede" rubs off and the wedge is coming unglued- like pulling apart from the upper part of the shoe. I am so disappointed in TOMS. I do not recommend these to anyone. Save your money and buy something else.

The moment I saw these I wanted them. I ended up ordering them a half size smaller due to the reviews. I usually wear a 6 and I ordered them in 5 1/2, they are snug, which is fine but I'm not sure if I'll be able to wear them with socks. So if you plan on wearing them with socks my advice would be to buy them according to your normal size. They are extremely comfortable and can be worn in essentially any outfit.

I definitely agree with the other reviewers who said these are comfortable - I can wear these all day with no problem. I am in love with these shoes and want to buy them in every color! They do run slightly large, so maybe size down half.
