I am not an "influencer" BUT I should be...
I'm in my 60's and I've tried every beauty product in the book. I got this Tom Ford traceless soft matte primer as a sample when I purchased the TF foundation - and I couldn't believe how great it was! For a recent family wedding I wore it for the first time underneath my TF foundation, and used a generic makeup setting spray on top of that. My makeup looked like it had been done professionally and stayed that way all day. One small caveat is that I hope this does not come in a "pump" dispenser because that is such a waste of product after the pump stops pumping. I can't afford to buy this primer right now, but hope to stop by the Nordstrom counter for another sample sometime soon.

I don’t love it- peeling
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a very humid climate and this primer just doesn’t cut it.
It doesn’t matter which moisturizer I use first, or how I prep the skin- once I apply foundation it peels off. It’s not a good feeling!

Truly Matte
Although the instructions are to apply the primer over moisturizer and then apply foundation, my TF Shade and Illuminate Foundation applied over moisturizer and the primer results in a cakey finish. I clearly look like I am wearing foundation. I go over my face with a blender sponge, but the caked-on look remains. Meanwhile, my TF Shade and Illuminate Foundation gives a glowy finish when applied without this primer. For reference, I am 69 and and dry skin. However, the primer is nice to use in the under eye area. It smooths and lifts just enough to make a difference. With this hack, I can forgo under eye concealer, so I don't have to worry about a caked-on look under the eyes. I love TF make up and fragrances and have a nice collection of both. At least in my experience, this matte primer is not a primer that I can work with to use under my TF foundation.

It was ok
I have typically run hot and can get quite sweaty, and I also have very oily skin. This did the trick for a while after application, but didn’t stand up overtime. It is no better or worse than any other mattifying primer on the market. It does have some skin care benefits, but not enough to justify the price tag. I wouldn’t repurchase.

Best Primer
I have combination to oily mature skin. (64 years old). This is the absolute best primer I have ever used. I have tried and used many many primers. This covers texture and controls oils like no other.
