Private Blend Tuscan Leather Eau de Parfum Spray

I usually wear Clive Christian "C" and tried this on a fiend's recommendation. I couldn't be more pleased. There are a precious few colognes which even exist in the leather-tobacco-wood family and Tom Ford has at least four. This one is my favorite. But his others: "Tobacco Vanille"; "Italian Cypress"; and "Oud Wood" are also excellent. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's better than CC, being a single note rather than a much more complex blend. But for the money, it's a sensible alternative if you have any sense of a budget at all. Before you scroll away thinking that this review is overly generous to Tom Ford, I'll say that I really don't care for his non-private blends. I don't care for "Black Orchid" or his self-titles "Tom Ford" scents at all. So if that's the only experience you've had with the brand, I urge you to go by the cosmetics counter and ask to sample a few of his private blends. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
