ROSE EUPHORIA!
I instantly knew I had to have this when I visited the Tom Ford site! Thank goodness Nordy’s carries Tom Ford and I can charge it. This is a Valentines Day gift to myself and I’m not disppointed at all! Let’s start from left to right. Rose D’Amalfi ushers you in with the rose and florals on an accord I want to be apart of. Next the Rose De Chine takes a different appeal as it has peony’s mixed with myrrh and starts your chimes going off left and right. But they saved the best for last! The Rose De Russie is heaven to my nose! This is the deep, rich rose with white pepper and mixed with Russian leather, MY GOD! Can it get any better after this, I don’t think so. I’m so glad I took a chance and bought this rose highway to heaven before settling on one. It’s most definitely going to be a full bottle purchase of the Rose De Russie. The Rose D’Amalfi for the Spring and Summer. Tom has done it again with this masterpiece on roses which is one of my favorite fragrances to wear.

Sadly, not a good experience
I stopped in the store today to try these. First the clerk sprayed each one on a tester strip. Rose d'Amalfi smelled like straight-up vanilla. Rose de Russie had some kind of generic perfume smell, which was nondescript but pleasant (but since it was nondescript I wouldn't have bought it). Rose de Chine was like Clinique's Aromatics Elixir with a little more sugar added. I stood around the counter for a few minutes to see how they'd develop, and after that time, Rose de Russie got fainter and even more boring but the other two stayed the same. Then I went and shopped around, asking the clerk to leave the tester strips for me, to check later. When I came back after half an hour, Rose de Russie was totally gone - like a blank tester strip; Rose d'Amalfi still smelled like vanilla, but much fainter; Rose de Chine smelled almost exactly like Aromatics Elixir at that point. (Which I gave up wearing in the 90s because it was so heavy and manly.) So, sorry Tom, but none of these are going to work for me. I'll stick with Lost Cherry.

I love the fragrances!!!
I purchased it as a gift to myself as soon as I saw it on Nordstrom’s website! I don’t regret it either. I have Rose Prick and wasn’t much of a fan, but kept it because my husband likes the smell on me. The new rose fragrances makes up for it in so many ways. I’m definitely going to purchase them in the full size bottles. They smell wonderful mixed together and worn individually. I love to mix fragrances. Anyway, purchase ladies. You won’t regret it!

Not the usual Tom Ford quality
Nordstrom is top notch, and Tom Ford is also one of my favourite brands for perfume. I am disappointed to say that the quality just wasn't there. These perfumes reminded me of Axe body wash.

Fermented Ford
Russian Rose scent smells awful. My kids asked me “what’s that smell, Mommy?” It smells nothing like roses. Need to return.
